Bringing the Curses to Substack
A Release schedule, a "How-to-Read", and some Expectations
Hello - and welcome to the Parallel Curses Substack!
The next month will be quite intense, with the first Chapters dropping daily for a quick introduction to the series’ first Arc. Don’t worry - you will not be receiving daily emails, but only once on the weekend, updating you on all things Curses, and sending you an ongoing piece of the story to your inbox at a respectful pace.
Release Schedule
How to Read
The Parallel Curses are not one story - they are multiple stories happening at the same time. Every story has a useful location tag and timestamp at the beginning of the chapter, for those who are curious (and nerdy enough) to track the events.
Every Chapter published continues the story of one of the main characters - in the first season, these are: Nisy, Demi, Ángel, Khalida, and Elena.
While you can read each chapter in order of publication, you can choose to focus on your favorite characters. Their genres and styles slightly differ, so I recommend you have a taste of all of them before you choose to do so!
Expectations
As some of you might know or have heard, this series has been ongoing on another platform since its alpha and beta phases. However, my plan is that Substack will soon become the main source of all things Curses. That means a faster release schedule, bringing focus on maintaining the quality here and gradually stubbing chapters in other platforms. This will happen slowly but surely, as I gauge the audience’s interaction - so far, Substack appears way more format-friendly as a home for the Curses.
For this reason, I highly recommend that you Follow the Curses here, where the experience will be of higher quality.
